It does not apply to information we collect:
- offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by SmileDirectClub or any third-party; or
- through any third party website or application, including through any application or content (including advertising or marketing) that may link to or be accessible from or on the Website or in the Application.
Children Under the Age of Majority
Our Application and Website are not intended for children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (“minors”) and minors are not permitted to use our Website. We will remove any information provided by a minor if we become aware of it. Parents and legal guardians are welcome to provide information on behalf of minors.
We may provide our goods and services to minors 13 years of age or older, and parents or guardians of children 13 or older are welcome to use our Website and Application to order and use our goods and services on their children’s behalf, including by entering their children’s information on our Website or in our Application. We collect different types of information and data about you, including information and data that may directly identify you or be used to identify you, information or data that is about you but individually does not personally identify you, and information and data that we combine with our other users. This includes information and data that we collect directly from you or through automated collection technologies.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by terminating your membership with us; however, we may no longer be able to provide you with our goods and services if you do.
You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Website and Application or transmitted to other users of the Website or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Website or Application with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

- to provide your licensed dental provider and you with information, products, or services that your provider or you request from us;

- to monitor your compliance with any of your agreements with us;
- to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;

- to allow you to participate in, and us to administer, our contests, promotions and surveys;

- to any company we might merge with or acquire, or that buys us, or in the event of change in structure of our company of any form;

- to enforce our rights; and
- with your consent.

Accessing and Updating Your Personal Data
You may access and update your Personal Data at any time. You can review and change your Personal Data by logging into the Website or Application and visiting your account profile page. Also, upon your written request and our authentication of your identity, we will provide you with your other Personal Data under our control, information about the ways in which that information is being used, and a description of the individuals and organizations to whom that information has been disclosed.
You may also notify us through the Contact Information of any changes or errors in any Personal Data we have about you to ensure that it is complete, accurate, and as current as possible. We may not be able to accommodate your request if we believe it would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. If a request to correct the accuracy of your Personal Data is not resolved to your satisfaction, we will annotate the Personal Data under our control with a note that the correction was requested but not made.
Do Not Track Signals
We may use automated data collection technologies to track you across websites. We currently do not honor do-not-track signals that may be sent by some browsers.
As permitted by applicable law, we also may use automated data collection technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). Some web browsers permit you to broadcast a signal to websites and online services indicating a preference that they “do not track” your online activities.
